Every year, the Legion calls on the nation to unite in commemorating Remembrance Sunday to make sure that no-one is forgotten and to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.

The service of Remembrance in Bridge of Weir will be held this year on Sunday the 8th of November. To ensure the safety of all those who are participating and to comply with social distancing measures as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic the service will be curtailed to a wreath laying ceremony by local organisations and veterans at 3pm at the War Memorial.

Branch Officials will put out notices in the Village giving full details of the service when final guidelines are known.

We will remember them.
