A group of local photography and video enthusiasts took part in the 48 Hour Film Project, a worldwide filmmaking competition. We interviewed founding member Bill Crookston to find out more – page 4.
This January marks the 100th anniversary of the Monte Carlo Rallye UK leg starting from Glasgow. This may be the last chance to see these lovely cars in the centre of Glasgow. when they depart from Blythswood Square Gardens on the morning of Wednesday 31st January 2024. Details on page 5.
Controversial plans to change boundaries, reshaping electoral constituencies in areas of Renfrewshire, will bring some significant changes locally. Boundary changes will affect our local villages and there is a meeting being held on 14th December at the Lynnhurst Hotel, Johnstone. See page 6 for more information.
A very important part of the lead up to Christmas is the annual Santa Sleigh Routes. These start from Thursday 30th November and run through to 16th December. A full list of roads is on page 8. Please remember that Santa and his helpers are subject to weather conditions. Please keep an eye on social media for any updates.
We have taken the difficult decision to miss out a January 2024 issue. However, we will be back to regular issues from February 2024.
The deadline for our December magazine is Wednesday 17th January 2024. Please send your information in by this date to guarantee inclusion!
